If you’re using third-party apps like Bold Options or Infinite Options to add extra properties to your variants in Shopify, you can include these options in a PO.
The product in the screenshot below has two custom properties: Waist
and Gift wrap
.
To do this, go to the app > Settings > Configure how purchase orders from Shopify should be created > Options > Use Shopify order line item properties.
If you can’t find the PO configuration page, you can check out this guide.
After you update the PO form configuration, go to the Orders page in the app.
Next to an order with custom properties, click Create PO.
In the opened PO form, you should be able to see the custom properties from the Shopify order line items.
In my case, Waist
and Gift wrap
were automatically added as custom properties.
Open the app > Settings > Template Editor> Line & Totals > Item.
Make sure the Display product options
option is enabled.
Whether you enable or disable the setting, this change will only apply to newly created POs. The old ones will remain the same.
