The app uses Postmark, one of the fastest and most reliable email providers, to send POs. You can send a PO to up to 8 recipients at once: 5 in the To field and three in CC.
We know how crucial it is for you to confirm that your PO reaches all recipients. That’s why we’ve made tracking delivery status simple and clear.
After sending a PO, its delivery status will be one of three options:
Pending
– the app is preparing to send the PO to recipients. At this stage, no one has received it yet.Partially delivered
– the PO isn’t fully delivered yet. This could be due to Postmark still processing it for some recipients or delivery failing for others.Delivered
– Postmark confirms the PO was successfully delivered to all recipients.Unfortunately, there are times when an email fails to reach one or more recipients. In 99% of cases, this happens because of an issue on the recipient’s side — for example, if your supplier has misconfigured their mail server or it was unavailable when Postmark attempted delivery. When delivery fails, Postmark sends a “Bounce” event to the app, including the reason for the failure.
As soon as the app detects an undelivered email, it displays a warning flag on the main purchase orders page. Clicking this flag shows why the email wasn’t delivered. After you resend the PO, the app automatically clears the flag.
If Postmark fails to deliver an email to a recipient even once, it won’t try to resend it. To reactivate delivery, we’ll need to step in manually — please contact our support team at support@magicbits.io with the recipient’s email address.
